FEE FOR SESSION

Thrive Behavioral Health, theCertified Community Behavioral Health Clinicfor Kent County, has been delivering mental health and substance use services since 1976. Thrive's unique programs and services are built on evidence based, person-centric care models.Our programs include: Adult Mental Health, Youth and Family, Substance Use, Housing, Teen and Young Adult, Court Ordered, and Crisis Behavioral Health. With more than a dozen locations across Rhode Island and more than 300 employees, Thrive is continuing to grow and meet the needs of the community.

General Summary: Provide assessment evaluations, outpatient short-term psychotherapy and linkage with community service agencies.

Schedule: Per diem

Location: Warwick, RI

Salary: $40-$50 per session, depending on licensure.

Essential Responsibilities:




  • Provide initial assessment and intake evaluation.
  • Provide individual, couples, family or group counseling within the scope of one's competencies.
  • Provide crisis intervention.
  • Develop and implement recovery plans and document services consistent with Thrive standards and/or insurance requirements.
  • Collaborate with other providers, agencies, insurance companies and individuals in the client's network of care.
  • Provide relapse prevention, discharge planning, follow-up and aftercare.
  • Provide education, training, and modeling in basic daily living skills, social or parenting skills.
  • Teach clients effective techniques for managing their medication as prescribed.
  • Coordinate community resources, transportation for client, and referrals to appropriate resources including services within Thrive.
  • Assist clients in developing and strengthening their support network to accomplish goals and objectives.
  • Produce, complete, and maintain billing forms, logs, data collection forms, clinical documentation and client records in accordance with Thrive standards and state and federal regulations.
  • Ensure clients have appropriate medical coverage at all times.
  • Accompany clients to community appointments, provides advocacy as needed.
  • Schedule and maintain client hours sufficient to achieve individual / program billing targets
  • Carry and enliven a positive Thrive image consistent with the Thrive's Guiding Principles and professional code of ethics.

Qualifications

Education, Experience and Competencies:




  • Master's Degree in the human service field of social work or counseling.
  • Minimum (2) years' experience working with clients with disabilities preferred.
  • Experience or training in related state and federal assistance programs also preferred.
  • Basic computer literacy skills are necessary.



Certifications, Licenses Requirements:




  • Licensed at an independent level (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW) preferred, LCSW and Associate-level clinicians will be considered.
  • Valid driver's license and automobile insurance which meets Rhode Island minimum standards law, or the ability to obtain necessary transportation in order to perform the job responsibilities/tasks are necessary for community-based positions.
