We are looking for an OnPath Foundation Development Officer to join our team! The salary range for this position is $58,920.89 to $73,651.12 based on skills and experience. This position is classified as On-site.

As a dedicated member of the OnPath FCU team, this role performs a variety of tasks that in partnership with the surrounding departments, provides cost effective financial services for the benefit of our members who are our primary focus. PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:

The OnPath Foundation Development Officer will focus on raising the funds that fuel the OnPath Foundation's work by connecting generous individuals and businesses to opportunities that make a lasting difference. The Development Officer will lead fundraising efforts through donor cultivation, sponsorships, and special events that grow both revenue and community impact for the Foundation's pillars of education, homeownership, entrepreneurship, and community development. As a dedicated member of the OnPath Credit Union team, the Development Officer plays a key role in expanding the reach and impact of the OnPath Foundation. This position manages a diverse fundraising portfolio that includes corporate sponsorships, individual giving, community partnerships, and special events. Working closely with the Executive Director and Foundation Board, the Development Officer drives initiatives that grow financial support, strengthen relationships, and amplify the Foundation's mission.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Fundraising & Donor Development


  • Support implementation of the Foundation's annual fundraising plan, with a focus on achieving revenue goals across individual, corporate, and foundation giving.
  • Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward a portfolio of donors and sponsors.
  • Prepare compelling proposals, sponsorship packets, donor correspondence, and reports.
  • Coordinate donor recognition, acknowledgments, and impact communications.



Corporate & Community Engagement


  • Strengthen partnerships with businesses, credit union partners, chambers of commerce, and community organizations aligned with the Foundation's pillars.
  • Assist with the OnPath Workplace Giving Campaign and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Represent the Foundation at community events and networking opportunities to build visibility and donor relationships.



Events & Campaigns


  • Support planning and execution of special events, including the Pathmakers Spark Series, scholarship ceremonies, and fundraising events.
  • Manage logistics, sponsorship fulfillment, and guest communications for events.
  • Contribute to the development and rollout of annual giving and year-end campaigns.



Stewardship & Administration


  • Maintain accurate donor and sponsor records.
  • Assist with reporting, grant tracking, and data analysis to measure fundraising performance.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on storytelling, collateral, and digital engagement strategies.
  • Support the Executive Director and Board in development-related activities and presentations.



Knowledge and Skills
Experience



  • 2-4 years of experience in fundraising, corporate relations, or nonprofit development
  • Demonstrated success in securing sponsorships, donations, or grants
  • Proven ability to manage donor or sponsor relationships and meet revenue goals
  • Experience coordinating special events, campaigns, or community partnerships



Education/Certifications/Licenses



  • Bachelor's degree in communications, nonprofit management, business, marketing, or a related field

  • Connect easily with others, adapting your communication style to different audiences while maintaining authenticity
