The Geo Leader of Americas Professional Services reporting to the VP of Global Professional Services, will work with leadership to set a clear and ambitious vision while thinking holistically about how our vision will impact the greater company. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of Snowflake's Professional Services department. You will focus on creating outcome focused solutions that address our Customer's most complex challenges. This includes standards, processes and pricing for existing and future customer engagements, as well as establishing value metrics to articulate the impact of the professional services organization on broader Snowflake objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Be a change agent and drive our mission to evolve to outcome focused services that deliver tangible results for our customers.

  • Partner closely with Sales and Solutions Engineering to define customer adoption, growth and success strategies aligned to Snowflake business objectives.

  • Work with Snowflake's leadership to define professional services offerings, manage future strategy and direction for the professional services practice.

  • Provide executive thought leadership - internally and externally - for Professional Services strategy, approach and activities.

  • Lead the business and operational elements of the Americas Professional Services team - from services sales to business investments to revenue and customer consumption.

  • Accountable for the entire Americas book of business including bookings, revenue and margin. Manage these metrics flawlessly while also delivering on broader Snowflake objectives including driving adoption of the platform, reducing time to go live and realizing efficiency gains.

  • Retain customers and identify opportunities to expand scope of work

  • Build, hire and manage a team of Practice Directors and Practice Managers who focus on positioning and scoping high impact, outcome-focused services to Customers.

  • Stay on point through Delivery to ensure successful delivery of services, and hold the Delivery team accountable for delivering to the committed outcomes

  • Own the relationships with Customers and Snowflake Sales teams; be the single point of contact for Professional Services success in the Americas region.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • 15+ years in a professional service environment with a focus in data warehousing, business intelligence and cloud solutions

  • Consultant and mentor with deep experience in Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, Big Data , Cloud Infrastructure, Data Engineering and AI Solutions.

  • 10+ years of leadership experience, managing a PS team in a high growth environment

  • Data driven and keen ability to drive efficiency and "do more with less"

  • Mix of selling capabilities and enough technical depth to hire and develop Technically oriented sellers; at ease with Technical positioning, scoping and aligning services solutions to outcomes (technical, business and strategic)

  • Ability to combine entrepreneurial spirit, change agent mentality, business, technical and customer interfacing skills

  • Proven success in building teams with a focus on optimizing performance, engagement and productivity

  • Executive level communication with customer facing experience and confident in presenting both technical solutions and business impact

  • Proven and consistent track record of building teams and delivering customer engagements

  • Strong program, project, and process management skills; preferably project management certified

The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role:

  • The estimated base salary range for this role is $288,000 - $378,000.
  • Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake's bonus and equity plan.

The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. This role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; flexible spending & health savings account; at least 12 paid holidays; paid time off; parental leave; employee assistance program; and other company benefits.
