Job Summary: As the Manager of Construction and Snow Removal, you will provide leadership and operational oversight of all resort construction and snow removal activities. This dual-season role ensures efficient summer construction and infrastructure improvement projects and reliable, high-performance snow removal operations in the winter season. You will lead a year-round team of up to 12 employees, including equipment operators, foremen, and seasonal staff, while maintaining strong collaboration with other departments across Mountain Operations. The Manager will be accountable for capital project execution, cost control, equipment utilization, and adherence to safety and environmental standards. This role plays a critical part in ensuring Palisades Tahoe maintains operational excellence and infrastructure readiness year-round. Applicants must be 21 years of age. Salaried: The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the Palisades Tahoe Resort, LLC's salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Palisades Tahoe Resort, LLC's total compensation package for employees. Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, talk, see, hear, and smell. The employee is frequently required to use hands to handle tools or controls and must be capable of walking or standing 70% or more of a normal 8-hour work shift. Must be capable of occasionally lifting and pushing or pulling 100 lbs. or more and frequently lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 20 lbs. Must be capable of frequent climbing, walking on uneven terrain, working on snow and ice, and operating heavy equipment. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Working Conditions: Indoor/Outdoor: The employee will frequently work outdoors in variable mountain weather conditions and occasionally in indoor office or maintenance environments. Hazardous Materials/Noise: Employee will be in contact with fuels, lubricants, and construction materials. Exposure to noise, vibration, and moving equipment is frequent. Hearing and eye protection are required in certain work areas.
