Your main responsibilities

Supply Planning Manager



Location: 21 Industrial Avenue, Hanover, PA 17331 and 700 Canal road, York, PA 17406



Roles and Responsibilities:



Supply Planning Manager for Schindler Elevator Corporation.



(15%) Demonstrate leadership inside the organization, work on develop team members, work on upgrade existing skills and performance to the according to the Performance Objectives defined, act as department representative while supporting cross functional activities.


(20%) Define patterns among the different product configurations to support a creation of Demand Planning and Forecasting process using different mathematical models of forecasting.


(15%) Create consistency of Demand and Supply using S&OP Process as main input and create supply visibility to the different stakeholders, linking the market with SC, to improve the reactiveness of the overall SC.


(5%) Standardize the supply planning process at the different levels of the product granularity considering the different type of business managed by the Supply Chain.


(5%) Interact with different departments inside the company such as Industrialization Engineering for alignment of information regarding new products, new parts and design changes and deploy to the SIOP organization in order guarantee the proper material management, phase-in and phase-out.


(10%) Optimize Inventory management processes in order to avoid excess and obsolete parts. For the existing E&O parts, create action plan and work together with other departments to evaluate consumption in order to reduce the total amount and manage better the free space on the warehouse.


(15%) Build complete model of inventory analysis, elaborate formulas for Safety Stock definition based on mathematical model, ABC Classification and being able to identify and recommend to the Material Planning team the right levels of Safety Stocks, Stocking Strategy, Buffers, MRP parameters on a part number level.


(5%) Set the KPIs and the targets for the Demand Planning, Forecasting and Inventory Management team.


(10%) Mentor, coach and manage of direct reports activities in order to achieve company objectives.

What you bring

Job requirements: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or other closely related technical field of study; plus 60 months (5 years) of experience in the offered position or other closely related positions. Experiences may be concurrent.
