Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Behavior Analyst (Outreach) for the Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology (
GSSAPP) - Douglass Developmental Disabilities Center (
DDDC). This position reports to the Associate Director of Consultation and Communications.
Among the key duties of the position are the following:
- Supervises and monitors the services and programs related to the education of children and adults with autism and their families within an assigned caseload through the DDDC's Outreach unit.
- and ensures best practice applied behavior analysis procedures are maintained and applied in the education and treatment of children and adults in community settings.

Qualifications
| Minimum Education and Experience |
- Master's Level Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst and at least five (5) years of experience working with individuals with autism.

| Certifications/Licenses |
- Board Certification in Behavior Analysis.
- A valid driver's license would be required for this position.
|
| Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities |
- Experience training and supervising other staff in the delivery of behavior analytic services.
- Advanced knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis is required and must be evidenced by certification as a BCBA.

- Specific training in functional analysis, treatment analysis, single case design, and preference assessments.

- Must be physically active.
- Duties may involve running and playing active games with individuals from 2 - 21 years of age. Following training, must be physically capable of safely providing crisis management techniques including restraining, lifting, blocking individuals with challenging behavior.
