Estimator

POSITION OVERVIEW

dormakaba is seeking an Estimator (remote) based in the US. The Estimator will work with Outside Sales, vetting plans and specification documents, quoting, and conducting scope reviews with team members. Responsibilities will also include working with customers to: drive sales; increase profit; maximize customer satisfaction; and build repeat business and additional market share.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: Base Salary $70,000 - $95,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) Please visit our career site for more information on benefits.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Read, comprehend, evaluate, and interpret construction plans, drawings, specifications, and addenda
• Review project for familiarization, accuracy, and completeness; note bid deadlines and document special requirements; evaluate project documentation and identify applicable portions for dormakaba involvement and opportunity
• Review project interpretations with Sales, Installation, Customer, or design professionals and ensure product applications are complete and accurate
• Plan, organize, prioritize, control, and execute the estimating effort
• Create accurate and detailed submittal packages and manage approval process from submittal to Project Management handoff

WHAT WE REQUIRE

• 2+ years construction estimating / project management experience
• High school diploma

WHAT WE PREFER

• Experience in the architectural building materials or construction industry
• Experience and knowledge of CRM systems, Salesforce
• College degree
