   - Support the accounting and financial reporting function for LATAM business, including monthly, quarterly and annual financial close processes
 - Identify and oversee the implementation of accounting process standardization
 - Assist in maintaining the internal control environment compliant with SOX requirements; assist in resolution of any accounting and internal control issues
 - Coordinate with business line and consolidation teams
 
   
  
  
  Reporting and Analysis
  
  
   
   - Assist in the accounting and financial reporting function for LATAM, including monthly, quarterly and annual financial close processes
 - Assist in ensuring that critical close deadlines are met and that any critical close issues are communicated and resolved timely
 - Perform periodic and ad-hoc value-added analysis of results against prior period performance; investigate changes or trends and document the results of investigation
 - Preparation of key balance sheet reconciliations with an eye for process improvement and/or consistency across accounts/clients
 - Support periodic and ad-hoc value-added analysis of results against prior period performance; investigate changes or trends and document the results of investigation
 
   
  
  
  Accounting and Auditing
  
  
   
   - Apply the financial policies and procedures of the company; escalate inconsistencies, problems, and recommendations to the attention of management
 - Conduct technical accounting research, including support of consolidation and revenue recognition, compensation arrangements, and leases
 - Partner with Regional/Global Controllership, Finance, Tax, and Legal to understand and assist in documenting issues relevant to WD
 - Assist in efforts to standardize accounting processes across regions
 - Perform internal controls in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements; assist in resolution of any accounting and internal control issues
 - Support internal and external audit procedures

   - Establish and maintain relationships within REMS controllership team, as well across the broader REMS Finance team (Business Partnering, FP&A)
 - Dotted line relationships to global, Leasing, and Corporate segment global leadership
 - Assist in onboarding and mentorship of interns and other rotating staff accountants
