Senior Electrical Engineer

Summary

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer with experience in high voltage, high power electrical systems. The specific experience we require is listed below:

The candidate would have as much of the listed experience as possible:

• High voltage, high power electronic systems
• Digital design - Microcontrollers, DSPs, EEPROMs, Flash, RAM
• Analog circuit design - OpAmps, BJTs, FETs, MOSFETs, filters, transient protection
• PID control
• Power electronics, DC-DC Converters, SMPs
• High and low voltage design
• Schematic capture and PCB layout
• Firmware (C or C++).OO, Pointers, References, void function pointers and callback functions
• State Machines, FreeRTOS, Linux
• Software : C/C++, C#, Python, SQL, GUI design( Visual C/C++ or Visual basic)
• Communication protocols such as RS232, RS485, SPI, I2C, USB, TCP/IP. - Diagnostic tools such as: Oscilloscopes, DC Power Supplies, Signal Generators, DVM/DAM
• Code Development tools such ICEs and IDEs
• Circuit simulation tools such as Ltspice

Required Qualifications:

- 5+ years commercial/product development experience

- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering/computer science

Employees must be able to meet the following requirements with or without accommodation.

• medium to sedentary work that will occasionally require employees to lift/move up to 20 lbs. and occasionally lift more than 30 lbs.
• Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or moving heavy equipment and/or supplies occasionally.
• Reaching above and below the shoulder occasionally.
• Above-average agility and dexterity with the ability to hold, grasp and manipulate small parts and use hand and power tools frequently.
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and handle physical exertion, such as long periods of standing, walking, bending, crouching, stretching, reaching, repetitive motion, or similar activities.
• Work environments includes: electrical current, proximity to moving mechanical parts, repetitive hand motion.
