Travel Specialist The Opportunity: As a Travel Specialist, you will execute the program's plan, processes, and activities for contract travel on behalf of the government. You will coordinate travel activities with program leaders, initiating quality, security, risk, and cost controls to maximize compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Joint Travel Regulations (JTR). You'll support a Program Management Office's geographically dispersed team with significant CONUS and OCONUS travel requirements and work with program leadership, project leads, and a team of travelers to support overall travel requirements, including Travel Authorization Requests (TARs), Trip Reports (TRs), travel expense reporting, and overall quality management. You will train, mentor, and advise program personnel on travel processes, activities, and business rules, providing resources such as standard operating procedures and training guides. On our team, you will work with program leadership, project leads, and multiple stakeholders to implement travel processes and tools and identify and recommend ways to improve efficiency and streamline operations. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,200.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
