Acara Solutions is looking for a Customer Service Support Rep for one of our clients in Hauppauge, NY.
  • 6mo contract (possibility to extend)
  • $27/hr
  • 8:00am - 5:30pm on a 9/80 schedule
  • Fully onsite
Job Description:
Sales Support Representative for quote creation and customer/stakeholder interaction. Independent and coordinated work with the sales team and company. Multitasking between internal and external portals, programs and systems. Cradle to grave administrative support for our Sales Team, extensive interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
Essential Functions:
  • Act as the main point of contact between Narda-MITEQ and our customers.
  • Respond to customer requests for quotes (RFQs) by gathering necessary details on products, quantities, delivery timelines, and special requirements.
  • Manages RFQ's placed directly or Via Customer Portals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate pricing, product availability, and sourcing.
  • Track quotes sent to customers and follow up to convert quotes into confirmed orders.
  • Ensure clients remain satisfied and loyal by consistently meeting or exceeding expectations.
  • Show a flexible approach to problem-solving, recognizing that different customers may have different expectations or solutions.
  • Identify and suggest improvements to the quoting and order fulfillment process to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Learn skills and responsibilities across various departments or functions to support team goals and enhance overall performance.
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience in a fast paced, multi-tasking, highly differentiated environment or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum 2 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Must be an accomplished multi-tasker, organized and efficient. * Experience in Office Environment with ERP, Quoting systems, and multiple support related electronic programs and mediums
