This Position reports to:

Business Manager - Operations
Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)

In this role, you will have the opportunity to conduct all activities related to the handling of parts and semi-finished or final products in the warehouse or to/from the production line. Each day, you will be responsible for sorting and arranging material for storage as per guidelines. You will also showcase your expertise by performing other routine activities according to established procedures.

The work model for the role is: onsite
This role is contributing to the Robotics U.S. PDP team in Auburn Hills, Michigan. Main stakeholders are all robotics businesses

You will be mainly accountable for:
  • Sorting and arranging material for storage as per guidelines.
  • Executing routine activities according to established procedures.
  • Picking components from stock for dispatch and final packing on pallets.
  • Transporting boxes, and being responsible for various other collection, storage, and warehouse activities.

Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)
  • You are immersed in / engaged in / absorbed in / highly skilled in/ you enjoy working with relevant tools and methodologies and the robotics and automation market
  • Ability to demonstrate your experience in / Have established skills / advanced skills / You have 2 years of experience in warehouse and internal logistics.
  • Ability to lift and push about 40 lbs., repetitively. Ability to, frequently, squat, lift, pull, and bend, among other physical movements.
  • Able to work shift hours and variable over time.
  • Possess an enhanced knowledge of SAP and/or ERP software, and also using warehouse logistics equipment (i.e. forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.)
  • Degree in high school diploma minimum.
  • You are at ease communicating in American English.
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the USA.
