Job Summary

As a Machinist I, you'll set up and operate machines to produce parts according to specifications. You will be responsible for monitoring machine performance, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining a safe work environment. Setting up process parameters, selecting the appropriate tools, machines, and materials to be used.

Primary Responsibilities

• Reading and interpreting blueprints, process sheets, and sketches, planning assignments and layouts
• Monitoring the operation of machines to ensure they produce quality products
• Operating and maintaining machines to produce precision parts according to blueprints and specifications.
• Inspecting finished products to ensure they meet quality standards Capacity utilization

Requirements

• Manufacturing Uptime Education - Have a high school diploma, vocational training, technical level or equivalent education.
• Have experience in setting up, operating and maintaining industrial machines.
• Be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Be able to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Be able to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
