Job Summary

As a Machinist II, you will operate and maintain advanced machinery. You will use your technical expertise to program and set up machines for optimal performance. You are ensuring the accuracy and quality of each product and meeting production schedules.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, process sheets, and sketches, planning assignments and layouts
  • Setting up, operating and maintaining a wide range of machines, automations systems and removal devices
  • Collaborating with engineering and production teams to resolve manufacturing issues and improve performance.
  • Optimizing tools and production by selecting, setting up, and adjusting production parameters
  • Training and mentoring less experienced machinists and machine operators

Requirements

  • Manufacturing Uptime Education - Have a high school diploma, vocational training, technical level or comparable education
  • Possess significant experience operating industrial machines
  • Be able to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
  • Be proficient in the use of precision measuring tools
  • Be able to troubleshoot and make adjustments to machines as needed Drive for Can be counted on to exceed goals successfully; is constantly and consistently one of the top performers; very bottom-line oriented; steadfastly pushes self and others for results.
