Associate HR Partner - Performance Polymer Solutions, NA; Remote, USA (w. travel up 30%); Preference for talent based on the East Coast.

The Associate HR Partner, PPS NA serves as a key architect and operational driver of the HR agenda for the PPS commercial teams (sales, marketing and application engineering) in the United States, focusing on the seamless integration of Workforce Planning, Performance Management, People Development, Employee Engagement, Learning, Culture, and Compensation within the assigned scope.

Supports a diverse group of professionals, many working remotely, serving different markets such as Aerospace, Automotive, Construction, Electronics, Energy, Industrial, BioPharma, Medical Components and others.

Key Accountabilities:

Workforce Planning, Performance Management & People Development:



  • Partners with leaders to understand and address talent and organizational needs and challenges
  • Drive completion of open requisitions and moves through approval process; Execute interviews; Coordinate job offers.
  • Design and execute on-boarding activities plan for new hires
  • Educate SBU leaders around the SG Talent Program and People Review process
  • Participate in the overall execution of People Reviews
  • Develop 9-Box and Succession planning
  • Propose SG Talent nominations
  • Leverage opportunities for talent development and mobility across SBUs and SG
  • Implement development programs - i.e. Mentoring, Coaching
  • Actively promotes framework & tools for Performance Management process
  • Maintains managers trained on topics related to Performance Management
  • Utilize and share key HR metrics to support HR decisions


Employee Engagement, Learning & Culture



  • Actively contribute to setting framework for BU specific training programs for employees in the perimeter, in close coordination with SBU HR business partners. Ensures compliance.
  • Leadership Training - Identify needs and assess individual training participants (new/refresher)
  • Conduct New Leader Integrations / New Manager Assimilation
  • Promote Cultural Trainings (PoCA, Ethics, Attitudes, TEC) and Career Week
  • Coach and counsel functional management, including international managers; Identify and proactively mitigate risk and potential liability.
  • Promote and support annual Employee Engagement Survey and develop specific action plans
  • Ensures fairness and diversity in all practices; Supports DEI and ERG programs
  • Promote employee engagement through the development, communication, and implementation of proactive employee relations initiatives
  • Builds and maintains an effective trust based relationship with employees. Investigates and resolves employee relations issues and complaints
  • Works with managers to drive organizational performance and promote valued behaviors
  • Analyze HR and employee data to monitor the desired impact of programs and services


Compensation:



  • Partner with management to develop and revise job descriptions
  • Conduct compensation comparisons for internal and market equity, in compliance with the SG Compensation policy
  • Support annual bonus and merit campaigns

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

Education



  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Psychology, or a related discipline (Required)
  • Master's degree - MBA or MSc in HR Management, Organizational Leadership, or similar (Preferred)
  • Relevant professional HR certifications, e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or equivalent (Preferred)



Work Experience:



  • 8+ years of progressive experience in HR roles, including at least 4 years in an HR Business Partner or similar capacity, demonstrating strong operational execution and business partnership skills (Required)
  • Previous experience in business that operates in environments marked by engineering, and/or co-development, and/or technological content (Preferred)

  • Strategic Thinking & Business Acumen: Ability to align HR strategy with complex business objectives and drive measurable impact on business performance.
  • Stakeholder Management: Experience advising executive leadership, including C-suite, Directors, Managers, and collaborating across global HR and business teams.
  • HR Business Partnership: Ability to provide guidance and execute people initiatives that aligns with business objectives, fostering strong stakeholder relationships, organizational effectiveness, workforce engagement, and operational performance.
  • Global Perspective: Cross-cultural fluency and ability to navigate diverse markets, regions, and regulatory landscapes.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English required


Travel Requirement:



  • Up to 30% of working time, domestic travels

Saint-Gobain aims to deliver a comprehensive Total Rewards package to support our employees' wellbeing and help improve daily life for themselves and their families. We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer prospective candidates and provide the national pay range for this position which is $102,000 to $158,000 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 13% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $115,260-TTC to $178,540-TTC. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
