Summary: Full-time, tenure-track Information Technology Faculty (member of the Computer and Information Science Department) will be responsible for providing quality instruction to students by ensuring student satisfaction through the classroom or laboratory setting according to the program objectives. This individual must have a strong knowledge of Windows and Linux server administration, handling of equipment, and troubleshooting.This person will be the program's lead instructor. The program is designed to teach PC repair, Windows and Linux server administration, basic networking and to prepare students to pass industry certifications (A+, Net+, Server+, Azure, etc.) NCC is strongly committed to increasing the diversity of the college community and the curriculum. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in information technology/related field or a different field along with current relevant industry certifications (A+, Net+, Server+, MCSA, Azure or AWS, etc.). Master's preferred. Experience: 5+ years in the field with experience in troubleshooting, maintaining, and administering operating systems in an enterprise environment. 2+ years' experience developing technology curriculums. 2+ years of instructional experience in teaching a similar field. Preferred Qualifications: Beside meeting the above qualification, experience teaching at a community college; Documented effectiveness in classroom instruction; Experience in program curricula and course development; Experience using and integrating technology in class instruction; Experience developing and/or implementing instruction in online or hybrid formats. | |
