Accountant-Staff

Position Purpose:
This position is responsible for supporting the Accounting leader in the preparation of financial statements, financial reports and schedules, monthly journal entries, bank reconciliation's and other duties associated with the monthly closing processes
Nature and Scope:
Responsibilities of this position include maintaining records in an organized manner, responding to inquiries in a timely, positive and pleasant manner, and maintaining a high level of accuracy. The nature of these duties are confidential and subject to analysis and audit. It is intended that the individual will work 8am to 5pm the first two weeks of each month. This position does not provide patient care.

Minimum Qualifications: Requirements - Required and/or Preferred
Education:	Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing and speaking English. Bachelor's degree in Accounting. (Equivalent experience in accounting may substitute for education on a two year experience to one year education basis)
Experience:	Preferred at least three years experience in general accounting.
License(s):	None.
Certification(s):	None.
Computer / Typing:	Professional: Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word and have the ability to use the computer to complete online learning requirements for job-specific competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online benefits enrollment, etc.
