Position Description The Warehouse Classifier/Revisor will be responsible for assigning accurate tariff classifications to our southbound products, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and facilitating smooth product movement. Ensuring that all products are received and shipped with complete accuracy, including physical counting, scanning, and inventory stock verification. Duties and responsibilities may be assigned or reassigned to this job at any time and may be modified. Key Responsibilities Classification Assign tariff classifications for indirect materials, machinery and parts for Mexican Customs entry purposes. Maintain and manage customs record-keeping requirements where applicable. Collaborate with engineers to gather and understand the technical information required for product classification. Support team members by discussing classifications, assisting with projects, and attending relevant meetings. Revision Physically verify that all outgoing trailers are picked up and loaded correctly. Verify the quantities on the packing list. Verify the part number, supplier, origin and number of pieces, boxes or pallets. Make, model, and serial number of machinery. Report any discrepancies, damage, or anomalies of the goods to the Customs Manager. Reorganize containers or parts on pallets that require unwrapping for verification. Receive goods into ERP system and generate inventory control labels. Required Education & Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of experience as a classifier. Familiarity with Trade Compliance or a technical background. Preferred: Associate's or Bachelor's degree Preferred: English/Spanish Bilingual proficiency Detail-oriented and computer proficient (MS Word, Excel). Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills. Excellent organizational and communication abilities. Ability to maintain focus on a single task and situational awareness. Ability to perform well in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment. Ability to handle equipment safely and sensibly. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
