We have an opportunity for a skilled Manufacturing Project Engineer to lead and coordinate all aspects of large-scale capital equipment projects from initial concept to completion, working with multi-functional team members to meet project objectives.This is an exciting time with nVent and in this new role, open due to growth, you'll have a direct impact on our ability to continue scaling our manufacturing capabilities into the future! ** This posting is for one position and you will work on-site, 5 days/week, in Anoka, MN. **
WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
- Define project scope, goals, and expected results by creating detailed project plans, timelines, and schedules.
- Identify potential risks and challenges and develop strategies to mitigate them to keep projects on track.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal customers by communicating and presenting project updates, reports, and documentation to leadership, project teams, and customers.
- Create comprehensive project proposals, including financial analysis (return on investment, payback period, cost-benefit), strategic justification, and risk assessment to support requests for new equipment or technology.
- Partner with engineering teams to specify and validate new machines or modify existing machines, to ensure safe, efficient, and quality production before operating. Assist in ongoing machine improvements to continually drive system improvement.
- Analyze manufacturing processes and large datasets to identify areas of improvement along with the validation of improvements and their desired intent.
YOU HAVE:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related degree.
- 5+ years of project management experience.
- Proficient with Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or similar project management software.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.

nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
Compensation Range: $76,000.00 - $141,100.00
