Heavy Equipment Operator

Join Waste Connections as a Heavy Equipment Operator at ourTransfer Station in Weatherford, TX. In this position you will be operating our Dozers, Excavators, Compactor, along with trucks and smaller equipment.

Job Duties:

• Spreading and compacting trash using a compactor

• Spreading daily cover using a Dozer

• Excavating soil using an excavator

• Maintaining haul roads using a grader

• Hauling soil

• Work in a fast paced, team environment

• Follow safe operating practices

• Operate D6T Dozer,826K Compactor, ADT Haul Truck, Motor Grader, Excavator Sweeper, Water Truck

• WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:

• Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 60 pounds.

• The employee is exposed to outside weather, including frequent wet and/or humid conditions, as well as exposure to fumes and vibration. Noise level is usually moderate.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license.

• Ability to read, write, comprehend and communicate in English.
