Job Title: Business Development Representative (BDR) Manager Department: Sales / Inside Sales Location: Boston, MA Reports To: Director of Inside Sales, North America --- Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) Manager to lead and grow our BDR team. This individual will be responsible for building a high-performing team focused on pipeline generation, nurturing qualified leads, developing outbound campaigns, and supporting the overall sales strategy. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of managing outbound sales or lead generation teams and possesses strong coaching, analytical, and leadership skills. --- Key Responsibilities: * Team Leadership & Development o Hire, train, and manage a team of BDRs, ensuring high performance and consistent achievement of KPIs. o Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and ongoing coaching sessions. o Foster a positive, goal-oriented team culture focused on collaboration and professional growth. * Strategy & Execution o Develop and execute inbound & outbound strategies in coordination with Vertical Sales, Product Sales, and marketing leadership to drive qualified leads and meetings for Account Executives (AEs). o Set and track performance metrics such as outreach volume, conversion rates, pipeline contribution, and meeting targets. o Implement and refine BDR processes and best practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness. * Cross-Functional Collaboration o Work closely with marketing to align on campaigns, messaging, and lead qualification. o Collaborate with AEs and sales leadership to ensure seamless handoff of leads and consistent pipeline development. o Provide feedback on market trends, campaign effectiveness, and prospect insights. * Reporting & Analysis o Monitor and analyze team performance using CRM and sales enablement tools. o Deliver regular reports and insights to leadership on BDR team results and pipeline contribution. o Identify areas for improvement and implement data-driven solutions. --- Qualifications: * 3- 5 years of experience in sales, business development, or lead generation. * 1-2 years of experience managing a sales development or comparable industry * Proven track record of meeting or exceeding pipeline generation goals. * Strong understanding of outbound prospecting techniques, lead qualification, and sales cycles. * Experience with Sales Tech Stack - Salesforce, Salesloft, Zoominfo, Linkedin Navigator... * Excellent communication, leadership, and motivational skills. * Highly organized, analytical, and data-driven. --- Preferred Qualifications: * Experience in Product Development Solutions * Knowledge of modern sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC, SPIN, Challenger) * Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field PTC carefully considers a wide range of factors when determining compensation. The anticipated annual salary range for this position is between 100,000 - 140,000. The anticipated annual salary range encompasses both the base salary and the on-target incentive compensation that may be attained in this role. The salary range reflects a good-faith estimate of compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on a candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Certain roles may also be eligible for participation in our equity programs.
