What you'll do

We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a Government Property Manager to join our dynamic property team! This is an onsite role, and the position is available at our locations in Carlsbad, CA, Tempe, AZ, or Duluth, GA.

If you're a Government Property Manager who thrives on leading the charge, this role is for you. We need an expert to guide our US Government property team, acting as the ultimate authority on FAR and DCMA compliance. You'll be responsible for implementing robust property controls and leading the way through both internal and external audits, including PMSAs. The day-to-day

Property System Oversight:

  • Manage the full lifecycle of Government-Furnished Property (GFP) and Contractor-Acquired Property (CAP), including acquisition, receiving, maintenance, and disposal.

  • Act as the main point of contact for Government Property Administrators and auditors.

  • Lead preparations for and responses to Property Management System Analysis (PMSAs), following DCMA guidelines.

Compliance & Risk Management:

  • Interpret and implement key regulations from FAR and DFARS.

  • Identify system issues, assess contractor liability, and manage the resolution of Corrective Action Requests (CARs).

  • Track and report all instances of loss, theft, damage, or destruction (LTDD).

  • Develop and implement tools to improve property system efficiency and compliance

Training & Internal Controls:

  • Develop and deliver property-related training to internal teams, including procurement, engineering, and logistics.

  • Ensure that all relevant clauses are flowed down to subcontractors and assess their property systems as needed.

  • Maintain internal procedures and SOPs to align with government regulations.

System & Data Management:

  • Ensure accurate and auditable property records within ERP, asset tracking, and PIEE systems.

  • Reconcile contractor and government property records, and support contract closeouts.


What you'll need

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Contracts, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in government property administration or management.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and DoD contractor property requirements.
  • Familiarity with PIEE modules (GFP, CPAM), Government protocols, and audit readiness.
  • Experience with inventory management systems such as Oracle, SAP, or equivalent.
  • US Citizenship is required.

What will help you on the job

  • Masters degree or MBA.
  • NPMA Certification (CPPA, CPPM).
  • Prior experience leading and developing a team.
  • Experience leading or supporting Property for Government audits or AS9100 recertifications.
  • Lean Six Sigma or Kaizen experience for process improvement.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including briefing executives and auditors.

Salary range

$99,000.00 - $156,500.00 / annually.
For specific work locations within San Jose, the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, the base pay range for this role is $112,000.00- $168,000.00/ annually
