- Leads lot crew under the direction of the lot operations supervisor and Sr. Manager.
- Coordinates assignments and schedules with vendor partners (temp agencies, etc.)
- Supervises up to two direct reports under the direction of the lot operations supervisor and Sr. Manager.
- Ensures efficient Lot Operations by coordinating the movement of vehicles from check-in to removal after sale.
- Oversees vehicle flow to ensure that incoming vehicles are received, stocked-in, numerated and parked in proper areas.
- Oversees lot operations to ensure efficient operations and administration pre- and post-sale.
- Monitors lot damage, meeting with supervisors and managers on a regular basis to review and resolve potential Lot Operations problems.
- Ensures appropriate and effective coordination of the sale day lineup and execution of activities.
- Communicates with commercial accounts, customer support teams, vendors and other auction personnel to ensure coordination of Lot Operations' activities.
- Ensures timely and accurate processing of all Lot Operations paperwork.

Minimum Requirements for Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma/GED and 5 years' experience
- OR the right candidate could also have a different combination, such as any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline and 5 years' experience; OR 9 years' experience in a related field
- Safe drivers needed; valid driver's license required.
- Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission.
- Strong communication and interaction skills required. Excellent organizational skills required.
- Excellent people, teamwork, customer service skills and leadership skills.
Preferred:
- 1-2 years auction lot operations experience and knowledge of overall auction functions required.
- Basic computer skills required.
Physical Demands:
- Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear.
- Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat and climb.
- Medium strength. Ability to lift 1-30 pounds (light hand tools, etc.). Manual dexterity, repetitive motion tasks.
- Vision abilities required include close, distance and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment:
- Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts hazard, electrical shock hazard and toxic or caustic chemicals.
- Moderate noise level. Frequent exposure to outdoor weather
USD 21.49 - 32.26 per hour
Compensation:
Hourly base pay rate is $21.49 - $32.26/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.
Benefits:
Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
