Senior Manager, IT in the Development lane is an experienced leader with proven track record of delivering complex large scale IT projects in fast paced matrix environments. They should demonstrate technical leadership in the design, development and delivery of technology-enabled applications, products and services. The primary responsibilities include leading and mentoring a team of managers, developers and analysts with focus on building highly functional teams. They must possess strong Project Management skills along with excellent people management, time management, decision-making, problem solving, presentation, documentation, planning and organization skills.

They will be required to manage multiple teams and delivery timelines in a highly demanding environment with constantly shifting priorities.

Manage schedule, cost and quality for Development Phase of IT Projects

  • Build work plans, review and refine assignments
  • Identify and mitigate risks
  • Ensure high productivity by focusing on efficiency and effectiveness
  • Publish Development Metrics

Build a strong functioning team

  • Identify and communicate Team goals
  • Build Individual Development Plans and conduct Quarterly Development Reviews
  • Identify areas of strength and weaknesses for continuous improvement
  • Coach teammates

Collaborate with the PM, Product managers, Architects, QA, Operations and Service Desk for flawless execution of IT Projects

Total Allocation of Time

Bachelor's degree

10+yrs experience in SDLC and multiple software development methodologies including Agile

8-10yrs experience working in a matrix organization with direct supervision of large teams having onsite/offshore mix

7-8yrs experience in design and development of Web applications

7-8yrs experience in technical architecture, software design and development.

Excellent communication skills and high Emotional quotient

5yrs of Healthcare Experience

High level of expertise in any (one or more) of the following:

.Net Platform

Oracle/SQL Server

ASP.NET, Jscript

Mobile Development

The Salary Range for the role is $110,100.00-$161,700.00 per year. If a candidate is hired, they will be paid at least the minimum wage according to their geographical jurisdiction and the exemption status for the position. New York Exempt: New York City and Long Island: $64,350.00/year, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $64,350.00/year, Remainder of New York state: $60,405.80/year New York Non-exempt: New York City and Long Island: $16.50/hour, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $16.50/hour, Remainder of New York state: $15.50/hour Washington Exempt: $77,968.80/year Washington Non-exempt: Bellingham: $17.66/hour, Burien: $21.16/hour, Unincorporated King County: $20.29/hour, Renton: $20.90/hour, Seattle: $20.76/hour, Tukwila: $21.10/hour, Remainder of Washington state: $16.66/hour
