What will you do as the Parish Relations Coordinator?

This role is responsible for establishing, renewing and maintaining positive working relationships between parishes and Catholic Charities, by building upon their common commitment to Catholic Social Teaching and service to the poor. The coordinator will also:

  • Communicate with Pastors of each parish regarding the work of Catholic Charities, establish covenant relationships with the parish
  • Collaborate with human concerns members, St. Vincent de Paul chapter members, and other parish and community-based organizations and volunteers, sharing the work of Catholic Charities and fostering an atmosphere that encourages a positive working relationship.
  • Work collaboratively with agency staff and parish partners to leverage Agency resources (i.e. volunteers, referrals, professional services, etc.) to meet the needs of the broader community.


Salary: $43,000 - $46,000 DOE

What are the requirements?

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, communication, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience working with non-profits, parishes, and community organizations
  • Strong interpersonal skills; a team player with a passion for developing and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, experienced using database systems
  • Travel is required. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and minimum liability insurance on vehicle are all required.
