Job Summary

Job Description - Production Operator, Reactions Dept.

-Prepares batches according to shop floor paper instructions.

-Read, Collect, and Analyze analytical data from stills and extraction equipment. Utilize analytical lab equipment such as hydrometer, densitometer, etc., alone or in coordination with QC Department or Process Engineer.

-Upon completion of batches, ensures timely backflushing of materials to maintain inventory accuracy.

-Operates electric and/or gas sit down and electric reach trucks as required.

-Individual must have good working knowledge of GMP's, HACCP, SAP, Excel, inventory control and maintain highest levels of sanitation in and around their work area.

-Push/pull 400 pound drums and lift 50 pound bags as required.

-Compare information on ZFIS to ensure proper packaging and amount of material against customer orders.

-Capable of wearing full-face respirator when required for handling of specific materials.

-Individual must be able to work unsupervised and handle unexpected situations, especially when working on the off-shift.
