Key Position Details:

Position will be a rotation between home and onsite throughout system.

  • 1.0 FTE (80-hours per two-week pay period)
  • 8-hour day shifts
  • No weekends
  • eligible for mileage reimbursement.

Job Description:

Establishes, promotes, and maintains system strategy for identified program and teams within safety, quality and experience. These programs include patient safety and quality, employee safety, infection prevention, accreditation, sterile processing, and patient experience. Works in collaboration with system and regional leaders and teams.

Principle Responsibilities

  • Supports system strategy development and performance outcomes improvement.
    • Analyzes and develops performance and improvement strategy for respective program.
    • Anticipates, identifies, mitigates and eliminates barriers to achieving performance results.
    • Develops and implements efficient and effective systemwide project and committee structures to drive improvement.
    • Collaborates with market and clinical program teams to drive improvement.
  • Manages large system projects, performance improvement initiatives and supports regulatory requirements.
    • Manages multiple performance improvement initiatives.
    • Uses established performance improvement methodologies to design solutions.
    • Facilitates performance improvement projects.
    • Collects and analyzes data and communicates trends.
    • Supports site and region compliance with state and federal regulatory reporting requirements.
    • Completes process flow analysis with input from key stakeholders.
    • Uses data to identify performance improvement opportunities.
    • Develops key performance indicators and measures.
    • Manages related programs, including analysis and reporting of data and program reviews.
  • Conducts training and education.
    • Assists in orientation of new employees and serves as an SME in orientation process.
    • Develops and conducts program specific retreats and team training programs associated with competency development and skill building.
    • Creates, publishes, and promotes standard work guidelines, processes and policies for employees within the programs.
    • Serves as a mentor for system and market program employees as appropriate.
  • Contributes to finance planning and budgeting.
    • Supports leaders in managing costs for program (ie, fit testing supplies, safe patient moving equipment, etc.)
    • Participates in budget planning.
    • Assists leadership with capital requests related to program improvements.
    • Maintains safety and regulatory documentation, including accident files and records.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or relevant healthcare field
  • 5 to 7 years experience in leading a respective program

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Nursing or relevant healthcare field

Licenses/Certifications

  • Current license or registration required if applicable to degree e.g. medical technologist, clinical laboratory scientist, physician or registered nurse required, e.g. Infection Prevention and Control (CIC)

Pay Range

Pay Range: $47.22 to $65.34 per hour The pay described reflects the base hiring pay range. Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable). Shift, weekend and/or other differentials may be available to increase your pay rate for certain shifts or work.
