While we would prefer candidates with experience in both areas, we are open to applicants with certification in one of these specialties. Certified Principal Trainer designation is essential, with at least 2 years of experience as a certified principal trainer in an Epic environment. Under the direction of the CKD EHR Training Manager, the Principal Trainer is responsible for leading all aspects of training planning, design, development, and implementation for designated applications within the EHR program. This role involves collaborating with business leaders, application analyst teams, subject matter experts (SMEs), key stakeholders, and other learning professionals to create innovative learning solutions that utilize a variety of learning modalities to enhance learner experience and effectiveness. Principal Trainer will manage the creation, testing, and maintenance of training environments and customize training materials as needed. Additionally, this position provides consultation on adult learning principles and support during go-live events to ensure successful transitions to new systems.
