This position will be remote within the United States.

Job Summary
As a Finance & Billing Customer Service Representative, you are responsible for direct interaction with customers regarding billing, payments, and financial inquiries related to Henry Schein One (HS1) products and services. The Finance & Billing CSR ensures that all customer financial issues are resolved promptly and accurately, while delivering a high standard of service. This role supports both individual and departmental financial goals and contributes to overall customer satisfaction.

This is a phone-based role 100% of the time, requiring consistent verbal communication with customers throughout the workday. The shift for this position is 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM Mountain Time, Monday - Friday.


What You Will Do

  • Respond to incoming calls and emails from customers with billing and finance-related questions, providing accurate and timely resolutions

  • Manage and resolve escalated financial issues, including billing discrepancies, payment disputes, credits, and refunds

  • Serve as a point of contact for financial inquiries, ensuring full ownership of the issue through to resolution

  • Document all financial-related customer interactions in Salesforce to ensure accurate records of account history

  • Monitor and respond to the Billing inbox promptly, creating and managing cases to ensure clear documentation and follow-up

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments such as Accounting, Sales, Customer Experience, etc. to provide coordinated support

  • Assist in processing financial adjustments, credits, and compensation in accordance with company policy

  • Contribute to onboarding and knowledge-sharing for new Finance & Billing CSRs

  • Participate in special projects and initiatives related to the department

  • Adhere to financial compliance guidelines and ensure data accuracy in all transactions

Travel/Physical Demands

  • Travel typically less than 10%

  • Office environment with no special physical demands required

Qualifications

What You Will Have

  • High school diploma or equivalent; training or coursework in accounting or finance is a plus

  • 2 or more years in finance, billing, or a customer service role

  • Knowledge of financial systems such as Great Plains, NetSuite, and/or Salesforce

  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and billing workflows

  • Ability to work on the phone 100% of the time

  • Excellent time management skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail

  • Clear, professional communication skills

  • Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities

  • Effective multitasker, both independent and team-oriented

The posted range for this position is$15.75 - $18.00which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience, current skills, location/labor market, internal equity, etc.
