Our lab leverages state-of-the-art and emerging technologies to achieve high-resolution profiling of the immune system. We are seeking motivated and adaptable individuals with strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills to perform experiments and contribute to the ongoing work of the Bodansky Lab. Appointees will also benefit from close proximity and collaboration with the DeRisi Lab, led by Dr. Joe DeRisi, gaining exposure to world-class expertise in genomics and computational biology as part of their training environment. Selected candidates will join a major academic medical center and established training program, and will actively contribute to the Department's mission of excellence in research, education, and patient care. Appointees in the Specialist Series will be expected to engage in specialized research and professional activities and do not have teaching responsibilities. Specialists are expected to use their professional expertise to make scientific and scholarly contributions and may participate in University and Public Service. Screening of applicants will begin immediately and will continue as needed throughout the recruitment period. Salary and rank are commensurate with the applicant's experience and training. See Table 24B for the salary range for this position. A reasonable estimate for this position is $55,000-$194,800.
