Your role

The Software Angineer supports Project Engineers in developing software interfaces for vacuum systems and control panels.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Program PLCs (Allen-Bradley RSLogix 500/5000) and operator interface software.
  • Integrate controls with fieldbus and Ethernet networks (e.g., Profibus, EtherNet/IP).
  • Understand motor control, BOMs, and electrical drawings.
  • Assist sales and engineering teams with equipment specs and support.
  • Troubleshoot and commission systems in the field.
  • Implement changes to improve product reliability and resolve issues.

Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in electrical/software system design.


Skills:



  • Experience with Siemens WinCC and CMore Automation Direct (preferred).
  • Proficient in MS Office; AutoCAD or Eplan experience is a plus.
  • Customer-focused, collaborative, and detail-oriented.


Other Requirements:



  • Willing to travel up to 25%.
