Software Engineer Functional area: Manufacturing Country: United States City: Export PA Company name: Leybold USA Inc Date of posting: Sep 5, 2025 Your role The Software Angineer supports Project Engineers in developing software interfaces for vacuum systems and control panels. Key Responsibilities: Program PLCs (Allen-Bradley RSLogix 500/5000) and operator interface software. Integrate controls with fieldbus and Ethernet networks (e.g., Profibus, EtherNet/IP). Understand motor control, BOMs, and electrical drawings. Assist sales and engineering teams with equipment specs and support. Troubleshoot and commission systems in the field. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Computer Engineering, or related field. 3+ years of experience in electrical/software system design. Skills: Experience with Siemens WinCC and CMore Automation Direct (preferred). Proficient in MS Office; AutoCAD or Eplan experience is a plus. Customer-focused, collaborative, and detail-oriented.
