In this role you will provide full-spectrum FOREIGN MILITARY SALES (FMS) ACQUISITION LOGISTICS SUPPORT to the GLOBAL HAWK PROGRAM OFFICE within the US Air Force Life Cycle Management Center at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio or Robins AFB, Georgia. This position will include both telework and government-site work requirements. Essential Job Functions: Develop and apply an understanding of the Global Hawk weapon system and associated documentation for analysis and assessment of the quality of the prime weapon system contractor's plans and work products in the areas of UAV logistics and sustainment processes, issues, STE, common tools, PSE, CSE, TOs, special facilities requirements, and UAV software products. Assist with the resolution of sustainment and deployment issues specific to international customers, including among other tasks, transportation and shipping requirements. Participate in FMS and DCS case reviews, Program Management Reviews (PMRs), technical interchange meetings, design reviews, test readiness reviews, configuration review boards, technical working groups, configuration audits, product acceptance reviews, reliability and maintainability working groups, interoperability working groups, logistics/sustainment reviews, and other working level meetings. Assist with working customer requirements relative to international freight forwarders. Assist in logistics support of the program, subsystem, and/or line item (i.e. initial spares/support equipment requirements, provisions, spares ordering, modifications, technical data, TOs, repairs, and facilities infrastructure logistics support). Assist in continually evaluating changes proposed for mitigating impacts of DMS impacting the program. Track and monitor spares and support equipment and items returned for repair, as well as identifying solutions to correct support deficiencies. Assist in writing and developing contract SOW documents and CDRLs designed to support the country specific international Global Hawk weapon systems FMS case. Attend initial government-provided training on the DSAMS and SAMRS information systems and shall use those systems to support LOA creation, amendment, and modification. Required Skills: Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required. Possess a Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) degree, along with 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 5 of which must be in the DoD. An adjudicated DoD Secret level security clearance with a NATO Endorsement on the First Day of employment. |
