Clinical Support Technician

Park Nicollet is looking to hire a Clinical Support Technician to join our team! Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day.

This position will provide and/or support patient care by performing tasks and duties consistent with professional standards and HealthPartners policies and procedures. In addition, may function in supply aid and/or sterilization capacity by maintaining a safe work area and ensuring that it is adequately stocked, cleaned and organized. Implement cleaning and sterilizing procedures to support infection control and OSHA standards.

Based in the Pulmonary & Sleep Clinic, on the Methodist hospital campus in St Louis Park, our Pulmonary & Sleep Clinic team is an incredibly dynamic, disciplined, forward thinking, busy & fun group of people! This position offers the chance to work directly with our patients, not only the team of nurses & other clinical support techs, but also our medical providers, respiratory therapists & sleep educators. The team supports over 20 pulmonary & sleep providers & can see upwards of 130 patients per day, both in-person & virtually.

Our clinic services all manner of lung & sleep disorders/diagnoses, with 5 pulmonary labs performing all types of breathing tests.

The clinical support tech duties include, but are not limited to, rooming patients, check in calls for both virtual & in-person patient appointments, administrative tasks, pre-visit planning (including obtaining images from outside locations to be available for the visit) & CPAP downloads.

This is a very strong team, looking for equally strong candidates to join & help grow the department.

Full orientation & training will be provided for all aspects of the clinical support tech position within the clinic.

• Monday-Friday
• Dayshift hours TBD

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:
  • High school diploma or GED (effective April 7, 2025. No high school diploma/GED required prior to this date for job entry).
  • 2 years customer service experience and/or healthcare experience
  • Complete Medical Terminology and Pharmacology online courses within six months of hire (effective April 7, 2025; not required if hired prior to this date).
• Licensure/ Registration/ Certification:
  • Complete BLS course within 1 week of hire and maintained BLS certification in accordance with American Heart Association (AHA). No online only courses accepted.
• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Demonstrated organizational skills
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, including appropriate use of English grammar and spelling
  • Demonstrated ability to follow detailed instruction work efficiently despite interruptions and maintain a courteous and cooperative manner
  • Demonstrated ability to function with multiple priorities and interruptions

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:

• Graduate of an accredited pharmacy technician program or currently registered as a pharmacy technician with one or more years pharmacy technician experience

or

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Assistant program and current Nursing Assistant Certification
