Certified Medical Assistant Annapolis, MD Pay From: $22 per hour MUST: 3+years of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant Strong phlebotomy experience Experience administering injections Peripheral IV insertion Cleaning and sanitizing rooms and stocking supplies Scheduling follow up appointments Coordinating lab work Assist patients with questions Experience updating patient information in EMR Experience working in an infusion practice site a plus DUTIES: The Duties of the Infusion Certified Medical Assistant include but are not limited to the following: Medical Assistant will be responsible for the following: Room patients Assist with infusions, exams and procedures Draw blood Administer injections Handle IV insertions Assist physician and physician assistant in exam rooms Schedule appointments Coordinate lab work Ensure lab work is updated in patient's medical records Keep exam rooms stocked with medical supplies, maintain instruments, and prepare sterilization as required Take telephone messages and provide feedback and answers to patient/physician/pharmacy calls Triage and process messages from patients and front office staff to physicians and physician assistants Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
