This is a hybrid role based out of our HQ office near Portland, Oregon. The expectation is for employees to be in-office 3 days or more per week, depending on business need. This in-office expectation is subject to change at business discretion.

ABOUT THE POSITION

At Columbia Sportswear Company, the Talent Acquisition team plays a vital role in connecting people with meaningful careers that reflect their passions. As the Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition, partnering closely with the Global Talent Acquisition Director, you'll lead a high-performing team and help shape a recruitment function that aligns with the company's broader People strategy. This role drives talent initiatives across retail, distribution centers, and corporate functions, with a strong focus on continuous improvement-including enhancing the candidate and hiring manager experience and ensuring alignment with business objectives.

  • Design and implement recruiting strategies that align with HR and organizational goals

  • Partner with senior leaders; serve as a strategic talent advisor

  • Directly manage and develop a team of TA Partners

  • Drive and manage yearly forecasts and quarterly business reviews

  • Guide adoption of company-wide Recruiting Excellence methodology

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our business, the market, competition, and emerging trends within the TA industry; effectively partner with HR and COE partners around these insights

  • Partner with Talent Programs to drive efficiencies around our tool and process optimization

  • Embrace diversity and inclusion to ensure our philosophy is deeply embedded in all recruiting activities

YOUHAVE

  • 10+ years of full life cycle recruiting and sourcing experience in a matrixed corporate recruiting environment. A combination of search firm and corporate recruiting experience will be considered

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience managing corporate talent acquisition teams, implementing TA strategies, refining recruiting processes, and driving success

  • A proven talent networker; maintaining active connections with external recruiters, sourcers and coordinators

  • Demonstrated empathy and change management skills

  • Strong communication abilities across all medium, with demonstrated competence in story telling through visual presentations (ppt or other)
