Responsibilities

The Clinical Nursing Instructor will be responsible for providing comprehensive clinical instruction to nursing students, fostering their clinical skills, professional development, and understanding of patient care. This position requires a commitment to excellence in teaching while also maintaining bedside nursing responsibilities.


Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • Education: Master's degree in nursing (MSN) from an accredited program.
  • Experience: A minimum of one year of clinical nursing experience at the bedside in a healthcare setting.
  • Licensure: Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Texas.
  • Certification: Basic Life Support from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and effectively.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with students, faculty, and healthcare staff.
