Panel Wiring Technician

Staffmark is hiring a Panel Wiring Technician in Houston, TX! We're looking for a skilled Panel Wiring Technician to assemble electrical panels and components according to schematics and drawings. This role is ideal for someone with panel wiring experience who enjoys working with their hands, following detailed instructions, and contributing to a high-quality manufacturing environment.

Pay: $16/hour

Shift: 1st Shift | Monday - Friday | 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Assemble standard wired panel devices based on electrical schematics
• Build enclosures including motor starters, circuit breakers, and disconnects per drawings
• Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and company quality standards
• Operate hand and power tools, forklifts, semi-automated material handling equipment, and overhead cranes safely and correctly
• Maintain high-quality standards to meet or exceed internal and external customer requirements
• Participate in training and continuing education
• Perform other duties as assigned and work overtime as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 1 year of panel wiring or electrical assembly experience
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics
• Skilled in the safe use of hand and light power tools
• Ability to lift parts over 50 lbs (with assistance) and work in bending, standing, or squatting positions for extended periods
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification
