Summary:

The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst, Patient Access, is a highly skilled analytics professional responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining advanced business intelligence solutions to support and optimize patient access across Ambulatory and other care settings. This role plays a key part in transforming complex healthcare data into actionable insights, enhancing operational performance, and improving patient access workflows.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the design and development of advanced dashboards, reports, and analytics tools using Power BI, Epic's Slicer Dicer and Reporting Workbench.
  2. Collaborate with stakeholders to refine and optimize existing reports and identify opportunities to enhance patient access through data.
  3. Monitor the performance of the Epic EMR system related to patient access, identify issues, and implement improvements to ensure smooth functionality.
  4. Partner with the Director of Ambulatory Access, clinic managers, scheduling teams, and IT to identify access bottlenecks and develop strategies for improvement.
  5. Other duties as assigned.

Technical Expertise

  1. Advanced proficiency in Power BI, Epic's Slicer Dicer, Reporting Workbench, Nova Notes, QlikView, Qlik Sense, SAP BI Web Intelligence (WebI).
  2. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills, and ability to work independently.
  3. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  4. Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Education and Experience

  1. Education: Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field.
  2. Licensure: None
  3. Certification: None
  4. Years of relevant experience: Five (5) years in BI or related fields, with demonstrated expertise in advanced analytics.
