Veterinary Assistant - Small Animal ICU

The purpose of this position is to provide assistance to VHC veterinarians and service Registered Veterinary Technicians in the performance of their duties. This position will provide patient care support, maintain area cleanliness and equipment upkeep, stocking of service supplies, and ensure medical record accuracy.

This position is On-site.

Minimum Qualifications:

* High school diploma
* One year of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

* Two or more years of experience as a veterinary assistant providing patient care.
* Ability to work with and provide preventative maintenance for ordinary medical equipment.
* Ability to handle, restrain, and provide medical treatments to domestic animals.
* Willingness to master new techniques.
