As a Nuclear Licensing Analyst, you will provide document management support for Regulatory Projects Engineering. This role will assist engineers through various phases of License Amendment Requests, including development of supporting documentation and acting as a liaison between multiple work groups. Company Overview: Wolf Creek Generating Station is Kansas' only nuclear power generating station, providing electric generation for Evergy and KEPCo. Wolf Creek has been safely providing clean, reliable energy to the citizens of Kansas and Missouri since 1985. The plant generates about 1,200 megawatts of electricity, which is enough energy to power more than 800,000 homes. People are our greatest strength and resource at Wolf Creek. Scheduled Work Hours/Location: We offer a 4 day work week, Monday - Thursday, with a hybrid remote option to work from home on Mondays. Many of our employees commute from nearby cities, with Burlington being the nearest town 10 minutes away. Wolf Creek Generating Station is approximately 40 minutes from Emporia, 60 minutes from Topeka, 45 minutes from Ottawa, and 75 minutes from Olathe. Job Specific Responsibilities: * Assist in the development and implementation of licensing strategies and compliance programs. * Support the preparation and submittal of licensing documentation, including safety analysis reports. * Support regulatory research and assess impacts of evolving standards. * Coordinate NRC inspections and manage responses to findings. * Facilitate cross-functional teams to resolve compliance issues. * Support technical presentations to internal and external stakeholders. * Monitor regulatory changes and advise on strategic implications. Education and Experience Requirements: * The Analyst I position requires a BS degree in a technical field or six years of nuclear or related industry experience. * The Analyst II position requires a BS degree in a technical field and two years of experience or eight years of nuclear or related industry experience. * The Senior Analyst position requires a BS degree in a technical field and six years of experience or twelve years of nuclear or related industry experience. * The Lead Analyst position requires a BS degree in a technical field and ten years of experience or sixteen years of nuclear or related industry experience. Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Required: * Ability to understand NRC regulations and licensing processes. * Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. * Ability to prepare NRC submittals and manage inspections. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments. * Proficient in Wolf Creek processes and procedures Licenses, Certifications, Bonding, and/or Testing Required: None Working Conditions: This position requires the ability to pass vision requirements associated with Company physical in order to read detailed engineering prints and drawings and inspect equipment installations and job sites. This position requires the ability to work in a moderately noisy environment (examples: business office with computers and printers, light traffic).
