Job Summary :

This position is responsible for a variety of tasks that ensure medical supplies and materials are accounted for, organized, and available when needed at HRH facilities.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect and verify incoming shipments of materials, equipment and supplies.
  • Unpacks shipments for storage and delivery.
  • Deliver all supplies and incoming packages to departments at both the Hospital and Medical Office Building.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records by monitoring stock levels, conducting regular cycle counts and updating inventory system.
  • Prepare and process orders for shipment, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Provide prompt supply deliveries to appropriate departments utilizing the provided inventory replenishment system.
  • Coordinate and assist in the performance of the annual supply perpetual inventory.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of materials.
  • Organize and maintain a clean and efficient storage area for supplies and equipment.
  • Implement and maintain inventory control procedures, including proper labeling and stock rotation aligned with organizational practices.
  • Conduct regular audits and report any discrepancies to management.
  • Assist in developing and implementing supply chain policies and procedures.
  • Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks, if required.
  • Maintain detailed documentation, including purchase orders, invoices and shipping documents.
  • Report on inventory status and supply issues to management

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a warehouse, logistics or Healthcare Supply Chain environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work with healthcare professionals and knowledge of medical terminology.

Education/Experience

High School diploma or GED certification is required. An associate's degree in a related field such as inventory management, supply chain management or logistics is a plus.
