MRM is seeking an Associate Strategy Director to join our team in our Birmingham, MI office. This individual will be a key contributor to a priority agency account, with opportunities for leadership growth.

We're growing a priority account and need a self-sufficient thought leader who can design and run smart experiments under constraints, turn audience data into strategy and creative direction, and coach up younger strategists-all while shipping day-to-day deliverables.

What you'll do

* Providing expertise on CRM, including audience understanding (e.g., personas, segments), journeys and relationships as well as specific tactics such as email, direct mail, social, and loyalty programs.

  • Own audience messaging and performance marketing for a leading financial brand.
  • Research audiences and competitors to ensure the relevance of our messaging strategies.
  • Write tactical creative briefs that inspire teams leveraging insights and best practices.
  • Build test and learn roadmaps that unlock growth and cross-agency learnings at speed.
  • Tun our targeting strategies and journeys based on available data and results.
  • Craft and deliver persuasive decks for senior stakeholders-including CSuite.

* Working with clients to understand their business goals and bring to the table strategic problems to be solved, helping determine approach and resources needed.

  • Set multiyear growth roadmap that meet client business objectives and drive organic growth.
  • Mentor junior strategists; demonstrating thought leadership and giving actionable feedback.
  • Be an active "nerd among nerds"-share tools, tips, and wins across the Detroit office and global Strategy discipline.

  • 8+ years in strategy (brand/digital/CRM/loyalty/growth). Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Nice to have: financial services experience, CX experience, commerce experience.
