Supply Chain / Planning Team
This is a 3.5-month, full-time (40 hours/week), hybrid contract role located in New York, NY.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 10am-6pm

Summary We are seeking a Demand Planner to support forecasting, planning, and cross-functional alignment across the business. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate demand forecasts, supporting supply planning, and enabling the organization to better anticipate customer needs.
Our Ideal Candidate
2-3 years of experience in demand planning or a related field
Passion for supply chain and forecasting with a strong foundation in analytics and planning
Proficient in Excel, Power BI, Tableau, and Microsoft Office, with strong data analysis and system skills
Familiar with SAP/APO or other demand planning software
Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional partners such as sales, finance, supply chain, and marketing
Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Flexible and adaptable to evolving business needs and timelines
Strong written, verbal, organizational, and presentation skills with exceptional attention to detail
Effective facilitation and interpersonal skills to drive consensus
Job Description In this role, you will develop and refine demand forecasts by reviewing historical sales trends, researching demand drivers, and preparing statistical models. You'll partner with sales, marketing, finance, and supply planning teams to reconcile variances, align on assumptions, and provide input into inventory strategies. This includes:
Supporting cross-functional demand planning and customer meetings
Developing statistical forecasting models and monitoring forecast accuracy
Refining systems and methods to improve forecasts and capture channel needs
Maintaining demand planning systems and ensuring product hierarchy accuracy
Preparing reports and providing insights on trends, risks, and opportunities
Supporting customer replenishment processes and performance metrics
You will also maintain reporting and tools to support the demand planning process, contributing to the team's overall success and operational efficiency.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (such as Business, Supply Chain, or Analytics) or equivalent practical experience
Background in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain disciplines
