Requisition ID# 166949 Job Category: Business Operations / Strategy Job Level: Manager/Principal Business Unit: Operations - Other Work Type: Hybrid Job Location: San Ramon Department Overview The Performance Measurement and Controls group, within the Vegetation Management (VM) Organization, supports the execution of programs that maintain state and federally-mandated vegetation clearance along PG&E's distribution and transmission systems, and the delivery of specific vegetation management programs to reduce the risk, frequency, and consequence of catastrophic wildfires in northern California. Position Summary The Business Analyst, Principal reports to the manager of Performance Measurement and Controls. This role supports VM's oversight of a portfolio of Distribution and Transmission programs with an annual budget in excess of $1.3B. This position follows a hybrid work model, requiring employees to report to their assigned office location at least one day per week (potentially 2 - 3 days in the future). The remaining days may be worked remotely, depending on business needs. The headquarters location is Bishop Ranch in San Ramon, CA. Responsibilities typically include many or all of the following: PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, collective bargaining agreements, and internal equity. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors. A reasonable salary range is: Job Responsibilities * Solves unique and complex problems, anticipating issues and developing innovative solutions. Presents findings and recommendations to senior leaders to gain agreement. Qualifications Minimum: * BS in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering or related discipline or equivalent work experience required. Desired: * Subject-matter expertise in extracting, and analyzing data from financial and operational data systems, to measure performance of business operations, using Excel pivots, power query, PowerBi, SQL, and or MS Power Apps |
