The Human Resources Generalist performs various HR-related duties and works closely with HR management to support designated geographical regions. This position carries out responsibilities in orientation and onboarding, policy interpretation and enforcement, employee relations, performance management, training, employee records management, benefits and HRIS administration, and employment law compliance following the company's quality management principles and overall objectives. Human Resources Generalist provides excellent customer service to internal and external client groups through professional and timely communications.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Serve as primary resource for employees and on interpretation and enforcement of Company policies and procedures.
  • Facilitate new employee orientation and ensure all onboarding task completion.
  • Support payroll processing by verifying and maintaining accurate employee records.
  • Handle employee inquiries regarding policies, benefits, and general HR-related concerns.
  • Support day-to-day operations, including employee relations, performance management, and policy implementation.
  • Assist with investigations and outlines recommended steps for resolution for review and approval by HR Leadership.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollments, changes, and troubleshooting employee inquiries.
  • Maintain employee files within the internal HCM system, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws.
  • Provide performance management training and support for employees and managers.
  • Assist with training and development programs to promote employee growth and achieve organizational goals.
  • Plan and execute company activities, including annual events and HR-related activities.
  • Oversee leave of absence management, including HCM tracking, per state and federal guidelines.
  • Coordinate employee separations, including conducting exit interviews, notifying appropriate parties within the organization, and responding to external agencies.
  • Assist in the development and execution of HR initiatives to improve workplace culture and employee satisfaction.
  • Participate in HR projects, including employee wellness and performance management initiatives.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with all HR policies and legal requirements.
  • Follow company policies and practices outlined in the Employee Handbook and/or applicable employment agreement. Follow safety guidelines and procedures in accordance with the job.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.



JOB REQUIREMENTS



  • 3-5 years of Human Resources Generalist level experience
  • Thorough knowledge of HR policies and procedures, including federal and state employment law.
  • Proficient in HCM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Advanced communication and interpersonal skills (English & Spanish)
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
  • Ability to work with diverse populations and across all organizational levels



PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification
  • Experience with manufacturing environments a plus

Compensation & Benefits:
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across severalU.S. geographic markets. Base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The annual U.S. pay range for this positionis listed below. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on your qualifications, job-related knowledge, skills,and experience.
