Equipment Specialist/ Maintenance Mechanic

Essential Responsibilities:

• Has the ability to start up and perform daily and weekly checks on utility and production support equipment
• Responds to issues regarding utility and production support equipment and makes adjustments and repairs as necessary.
• Performs all repairs on utility and production support equipment.
• Knowledgeable in the operation and maintenance of plant solvent recovery system, plant peptone concentration system, boilers, PW/WFI System and plant fire security system. Test water of boiler as directed.
• Maintains and performs preventive maintenance on controls and related equipment. Adjusts and calibrates equipment when necessary.
• Performs minor electrical and pipefitting repairs to utility and production support equipment.
• Performs tests on systems tied in with utility and production support equipment

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or G.E.D. required/ 2 plus years required, 5 plus years preferred

Current Opening:

2^nd shift, M-F, 3pm -11:30pm

• Maintenance on rotating on-call schedule (approximately once every 5-6 weeks), receive on-call pay.

Compensation:

• Depends on several factors including skills and experience. The hiring manager and HR will determine where candidates may fall within the range, but we expect the range to be $25.00-$36.00/hour. Additionally, the 2nd shift position is eligible for a shift differential of $1.30/hour.
