Job Description: We are seeking a hands-on, detail-orientedMachine Assemblerto join our team in building and testing CNC and Waterjet machinery. This role involves assembling high-precision cutting systems, performing durability and functionality tests, and supporting both internal teams and customers. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to achieving both team and individual goals. Key Responsibilities
- Assemble CNC and Waterjet machines to company standards using laser levels and alignment tools.
- Conduct hands-on testing for durability, precision, and consistency of new and existing products.
- Install machine accessories (e.g., torch configurations, software upgrades, marker assemblies) per customer specifications.
- Safely pack machines for shipment, following company checklists and guidelines.
- Manage incoming and outgoing goods at the Plymouth, MA location.
- Operate forklifts in compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
- Follow build plans and complete weekly machine builds on schedule.
- Document and report any issues found during machine production to the Operations Manager.
- Provide technical support during customer demonstrations for Sales and Operations teams.
- Perform on-site equipment servicing as needed, including repairs and documentation.
- Maintain records of consumables, spare parts, software upgrades, plasma sources, and service logs.
- Foster strong relationships with coworkers and customers.
- Continuously expand knowledge of the full product range.
Skills & Qualifications Required:
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong verbal and reading comprehension, especially with technical instructions and schematics.
- Clear and effective communication skills.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with CNC plasma cutting systems.
- Advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting skills related to CNC machinery.
- Strong planning and organizational abilities.
Preferred (but not required):
- Forklift certification
- OSHA 10 certification
