Accounting Clerk

Are you detail-oriented with a passion for numbers and organization? Staffmark is hiring an Accounting Clerk to support the financial operations of a well-established company in Farmers Branch. If you have at least 2 years of accounting experience and thrive in a structured environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Schedule: 1st Shift

Pay Range: $45,760 - $47,840 annually

Responsibilities:

• Review all invoices for proper documentation and approvals prior to payment
• Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving reports; resolve discrepancies
• Print, obtain signatures, and distribute accounts payable checks
• Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain positive vendor relationships
• Prepare garnishment checks and process ACH postings
• Maintain accounts payable reports and files
• Compile 1099 documentation (W9s) and assist with annual 1099 reporting
• Assist the Controller and Owner with clerical duties as needed
• Handle filing and electronic document management
• Order office supplies as backup support for Accounts Receivable
• Schedule approved ACH payments while ensuring discount terms are met
• Perform other general accounting and administrative tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• 2+ years of accounting or accounts payable experience
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Proficient with ERP systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• Effective communication skills and a high level of accuracy
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs as needed
