We are currently looking for a Safety Manager to join our team in Berryville, VA.

The starting pay is $90,000-$115,000 per year dependent upon experience.

What You'll Do:

• Champion a proactive safety culture that protects our people, equipment, and the communities we serve.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory standards, maintaining accurate and timely safety documentation.
• Lead engaging safety programs, from onboarding and toolbox talks to quarterly training, stand-downs, and specialized certifications like confined space entry.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections of facilities, equipment, and vehicles, identifying hazards and driving corrective action.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses; share lessons learned and implement preventive measures.
• Partner with leadership at every level to assess risks, strengthen safety policies, and embed safety accountability into daily operations.
• Stay ahead of industry standard processes and regulatory changes, applying them to enhance training, processes, and performance.
• Serve as a trusted advisor and mentor, providing individual coaching and fostering safety awareness across all teams.
• Lead special safety initiatives and campaigns that inspire engagement and continuous improvement.

What We Need From You:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Safety, Health, and Environmental, preferred. Technical type of certifications in areas such as OSHA 30 or similar experience with an emphasis in environmental, or construction safety courses.
• Previous working experience in a field safety environment.
• Outstanding communication skills, demonstrating tact, diplomacy, and the ability to successfully communicate with individuals at all organizational levels, from field personnel to corporate leadership
• Working knowledge of computers with competencies in Windows, Office, and the Internet.
• OSHA Certified Trainer, preferred
• Ability to complete work assignments and work alone with little supervision.
