Core Network Solutions Engineer

Nokia of America Corporation, Core Network Solutions Engineer (Multiple Positions), Murray Hill, NJ

• Design and deploy Nokia Container Service (NCS) platform to onboard Nokia Telco Cloud CNFs.
• Develop process and documentation to turn up and maintain NCS platform and CNFs involved with.
• Assist the Core team to design/deploy/integrate rest of the CNFs in a way to optimize the HW resources needed for the full core implementation.
• Provide troubleshooting support for rest of the team in maintaining the full core.
• Provide technical support for customer test sessions in the responsible areas.
• Provide measurable input into new products, processes, standards or operational plans in support of business strategies.
• Analyze, develop and implement concepts and solutions as a subject matter expert. #LI-DNI

Domestic travel up to 10% required.

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Systems, Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Systems or a related field, and 5 years of post-bachelor's progressive related work experience. Or a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Systems, Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Systems or a related field, and 3 years of related work experience.

Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience with the following:

• 3gpp 5G Service Based Architecture;
• Design, deployment and integration of NCS platform and CNF;
• Troubleshooting skills related to NCS and CNFs;
• Telco Cloud Network Elements, including VMWare, and VMCloud suite; and,
• 5G VoNR Implementation and Verification.
